Dance is a big challange for me. As a long-time student of capoeira and relatively new to contact improvisation, I still find hard to let my rigidity go. I have to go through the labyrinth every time to surrender and find the joy.
Thanks to my connection with movement, I am able to capture when others engage in corporal dialogues. These are imprints, frozen or blurry words from an (un)conscious conversation and a stream of expressive search for connection. I have been working with various dance schools in Portugal and Greece, taking care of their professional photography.

Monuments burn into moments. A document of our times, our customs, our fashion, habits and foibles in a set timeframe. Telling many small stories with a single image.
It is so exciting to document life, or an event as a participant. I love searching for elements that add to the image, checking the background and making it add to the subject instead of detracting from it, waiting for the right position, gesture, light, and crafting the image instead of just pressing the button. I shoot for clients who want spontaneous images from their events to share intense and captivating stories.

How do you transform something that unfolds with time into a still image?
I love working with music artists, planning and taking creative press shots, artistic portrait photography, and documenting their stage acts. I always make sure to get to know my client’s personality and the style they desire to create the perfect portraits for their album covers, advertising and press.
